Make space, find time

Make Space, Find Time is a short story about the world and life of the U Umlaut. Written for the publication and group exhibition Nyma Graphia Cifra at Parallel Oaxaca, 2015, it served as a trigger for other pieces developed during the residency.

For the exhibition Nyma Graphia Cifra, the artists Ayami Awazuhara, Anna Szaflarski and Valentina Jager worked together with local artisans in Oaxaca to create hybrid forms that combine their previous research with local influences. The artists are interested in forms that have developed in craft, and understand them as visual records of history, culture and a form of communication.
